I purchased a kit a few years ago (from this same seller) with the older style trays and decided to try the new thermoforming trays. I highly recommend them. They are comfortable and easy to use. The “trick” with them is that you need to suck them a bit so that they sit tightly around your teeth. Then you’re set.
To form fit the older trays, you need to heat them in very warm water then mold around your teeth. I had a hard time getting it just right, I either had the water too hot and the trays folded over or too cold and they didn’t form all that well. There’s definitely an art to them. But the thermoforming trays eliminate that.
The gel is the same as what the dentists use. It’s the industry standard. You are definitely choosing value when you purchase this kit.

Superb seller! I contacted the seller about the availability of a 22% kit, as I was concerned about possible tooth sensitivity from stronger formulations. They assembled a kit for me & sent it immediately. The product is very effective. After 2 weeks of use, my teeth are considerably whiter, & (using the included remineralization gel) I have had no sensitivity. Great product & great seller!
